FIVE LADY VOL BASKETBALL GAMES TO BE VIDEO STREAMED VIA UTLADYVOLS.COM

The 2006-07 University of Tennessee Lady Vol basketball team already has a record 21 regular season games scheduled for television and now five home games have been added for video streaming on utladyvols.com.

Tennessee fans will have the opportunity to watch Lady Vol games versus Chattanooga (Sun., Nov. 12), Stanford (Fri., Nov. 24), UT-Martin (Tues., Dec. 5), George Washington (Thurs., Dec. 7) and West Virginia (Wed., Dec. 20) via the internet. Viewers will be able to hear Mickey Dearstone's radio play-by-play while watching the live action from Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Yahoo! Sports University of Tennessee School Pass costs $4.95 per month and features: UT football, men's and women's basketball, baseball and "Vol Calls" radio broadcasts as well as the Pat Summitt TV Show, the Phillip Fulmer TV Show and the Bruce Pearl TV Show during the season. An additional option is the College Pass subscription, which includes broadcasts for more than 100+ schools, and costs $9.95 per month

  • Fans have to create a Yahoo! ID (user name and password) as part of the sign-up process, unless one has already been created
  • The minimum technical specs are: Users wishing to view the video stream will need to make sure to meet the minimum technical requirements. PC users should have a 233MHz Pentium II or faster, 64MB of RAM and be running Windows 98 or later with Internet Explorer 5 (or higher) and be sure to have the Windows Media Player 7 or later installed. Mac users should have a 180MHz or faster processor with 64MB of RAM and be running Mac OS X 10 or later with Internet Explorer 5.2 or later running and be sure to have the Windows Media Player for Mac OS X installed. All users should have a 16-bit sound card and a 16-bit high color video card and have at least a 56kbps dialup access, though broadband access is recommended. The Windows Media Player can be downloaded from Microsoft.com.

Video stream will be the same as what is shown on the jumbotron inside the arena.
