Won her first collegiate tournament at the Fall Preview at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., with two rounds in the 60s en route to a five-under-par 211 showing, the lowest three-round total on the 2006-07 UT squad and fourth on the all-time Lady Vol list...Tabbed Golfweek National Player and Lady Vol Athlete of the Week for the win...Her opening round of 67 was the best of her career, and tied teammate Marci Turner for the best first round in Lady Vol history...Earned Honorable Mention National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-America and second team All-Southeastern Conference nods...Member of the conference honor roll and an NGCA Academic All-American...Recognized by Golfweek as an honorable mention All-American...Holed out from the fairway for eagle on the 17th hole in the final round of the Mercedes-Benz to help Tennessee get into a playoff with Georgia, shooting a team-best 69 in the final round...Added another eagle in the second round of the SEC Championships...Broke 70 a total of five times during the season, including her 67 at the Fall Preview and a trio of final-round 69s at the Cougar Classic, Fall Preview and Mercedes-Benz Championships, and an opening-round 69 at the Central Regional Championships to start UT off on the right foot...Took home a top-10 finish from the season-opening Cougar Classic, where her rounds of 77-71-69=217 (+1) were good enough for seventh place...Finished 11th at the Lady Tar Heel Invite with an eight-over-par 224 to lead her teammates...Placed in the top 24 in all but one tournament on the year...


Competed in all 34 rounds and earned second-team All-SEC honors in her freshman campaign...Toppled three Lady Vol tournament records by producing the lowest total by a first-year player at the Cougar Classic, Dr. Donnis Thompson and NCAA East Regionals...Shot a one-under 71 in both rounds on her first day in Orange at the Cougar Classic ending up ninth at 219 (71-71-77)...Notched a three-over 216 (72-72-72) at the Dr. Donnis Thompson...Her third-place finish in Hawaii puts the Riverside, Calif., native in a tie for the third-lowest total by a freshman at UT...Tied with teammate Violeta Retamoza for 25th at the NCAA East Regional competition...Fired a five-over-par 221 to help Tennessee claim the NCAA East Regional Championship trophy...Holds the record for the lowest score by a freshman at the NCAA East Regionals...Earned runner-up honors at the Auburn Derby Invite by registering a two-over-par 218...Led the Lady Vols at the Bryan National Collegiate with a sixth-place-tying 219...Had a great second round at the Lady Gamecock, making an eagle, nine pars and five birdies...Her three-under-par 69 on the second day landed her in a tie for eighth with a total of 222...Ended the SEC Championships with an even-par 72, securing a tie for seventh-place with a 221...Earned Academic All-SEC honors.


Led her squad to two straight league championships, winning the individual crown as a senior...Smith served as co-captain her senior campaign and was named the co-MVP... As a junior, in addition to a second-place individual showing at the league championships, Smith was named the scholar-athlete...Smith then advanced to Southern State...Played on the boys team her freshman year, receiving both the freshman of the year and scholar-athlete awards...She also tied for second at Southern State in 2001.


Tied for 18th in stroke play at the 2007 U.S. Women's Amateur after carding a one-over-par 145 though two rounds...Knocked out of match play after competing in the round of 16... Named a 2004 Rolex Jr. Honorable Mention All-American...Won the American Junior Golf Association Marsh Jr. Tournament in the summer of 2004...Took fifth at the Marshallia Ranch Junior....Smith won the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Championship along with six other titles in 2001...In claiming the CIF, she became the first freshman to do so...In 2003, she won the VJGA-SCGA Members Course and the Optimist District Qualifier...Additionally, she tied for first at the Junior World Qualifier...Smith set the course record at Morgan Run with a final-round 66 en route to a fourth-place showing in 2002...Also that year, Smith claimed a pair of runner-up finishes...In spring 2005, Smith won the Kathy Whitworth Invitational and the tied for fourth at the AJGA's Heather Farr Classic with rounds of 72 and 69...She also claimed 11th at the Mission Hills Desert Junior with rounds of 78, 79 and 76.
