BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. -- Sophomore Nathalie Mansson and the No. 13/15-ranked Tennessee women's golf team will both be in position to secure top-five placements at the Bryan National Collegiate when the final round of the tournament begins on Sunday.

Mansson followed up her first-round 69 with a 2-over 74 on Saturday during round two action at the Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center, while Lady Vols registered a 17-over 305 team total to drop from first to tied for third.

UT has a two-day total of 287-305=592 (+16) and is tied with No. 16 Ohio State, one stroke ahead of fourth-ranked Duke (593).

Tournament co-host Wake Forest has two players tied for the individual lead, but is currently in second-place with a 580 total, just one shot behind Florida State (579).

The Lady Vols will begin the third round at 8:30 a.m. in a shotgun start with Duke and No. 19 Vanderbilt in their group.

Live scoring will be provided by Golfstat.com.

"We had a good start today, but made a lot of costly mistakes toward the end of the round," Lady Vol head coach Judi Pavon said. "Our team needs to play with more confidence and we'll continue to work on that. Nathalie did a great job fighting out there to keep herself in position to win."

Mansson's two-day score of 143 (-1) puts her alone in fifth-place on the leaderboard. Demon Deacons Michelle Shin and Cheyenne Woods share the medalist lead at 5-under 139 with a round left.

The Stockholm, Sweden, native nabbed three birdies, but had a pair of double bogeys on the back nine. She will look to capture her fourth consecutive top-10 finish on Sunday.

Senior Diana Cantú followed her day-one 73 with a 3-over 76 on Saturday and is tied for 23rd with a 149 (+5) score, while classmate Ginny Brown rebounded from 5-over front nine to play even on the back and shoot a 77. She is tied for 34th with a 73-77=150 (+6).

Joining Brown in the 34th slot is freshman Sara Monberg. The Juelsminde, Denmark, native stumbled on her last four holes to shoot a 78 after recording an even-par 72 on the first day.

Freshman Erica Popson and junior Lauren Spurlock, playing as an individual, are both tied for 82nd. Popson has a 81-79=160 (+16) total, while Spurlock takes a 79-81=160 (+16) mark into the final day.
