The Lady Vol golf team was recognized by Golfweek as Team of the Week after Tennessee took home its second tournament title of the spring with a playoff win at the Bryan National Collegiate.

The Lady Vols outlasted No. 9 Duke in a playoff Sunday to win the Bryan National Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C. Duke shot a final-round-best 289 to tie Tennessee (298) after regulation play at 18-over 882, but the Lady Vols made four pars to Duke's three pars and a double bogey in a team playoff at the 18th hole for the victory.

The Lady Vols, No. 13 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, were led by Erica Popson, who tied for third individually.

In addition to tying with 10th-ranked Duke, the 14th-ranked Lady Vols defeated 12 top-50 teams, including six top-25 squads, in the 17-team field. No. 22 Florida State (+25) placed third while No. 19 Ohio State (+28) and No. 6 North Carolina (+28) finished in a tie for fourth place.

Rohrback anchored the UT scoring effort in the tournament's final round, carding a 1-over 73 Sunday, punctuated by two birdies as well as an eagle on hole No. 12. She finished the weekend tied for 16th with a 75-75-73=223 tally.

Junior Erica Popson, who entered the day tied for first, carded her first round over par on the weekend to finish tied for third on a 71-70-75=216 scorecard.

Nathalie Mansson, a senior, compiled a 74-72-75=221 tally en route to a tie for ninth place, while freshman AJ Newell put up a 80-76-75=231 (T50) performance during the weekend.

Finishing out the lineup for the Lady Vols was junior Sara Monberg who carded a nine-over 81 in Sunday's final round before finishing in a tie for 40th place.

Tennessee sat in third after Friday's first-round 293 (+5) score, and found itself in sole possession of first place after the second round (291, +3), before sharing the lead with the Blue Devils during the final 18. The finish gives UT four top-five placements this season.
