KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Junior golfer Ginny Brown added another honor to her list of awards this week as she was named to the Southeastern Conference Women's Golf Community Service Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Brown also earned a spot on to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll and was recognized as the Lady Vol Athlete of the Week this week.
Brown has been very active in the Knoxville community, volunteering with the First Tee of Knoxville, the Knoxville Youth Sports Clinic, Teams for Toys, Blocks for Turkeys with Second Harvest Bank, April Play Day in local schools and the UT Athletics Donor Thank-a-thon.
The Austin, Texas, native is majoring in public relations and has been an NGCA Academic All-America selection the past two seasons.
