STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Incoming freshman Nathalie Mansson finished tied for 40th at the Scandinavian TPC, a Ladies European Tour event hosted by Annika Sorenstam on Sunday at Frosaker Golf & Country Club in Vasteras.
Mansson, of Stockholm, carded a 3-over, 75 on the final day of play to finish with a 54-hole total of 217 (+1).
The 19-year-old was tied for fourth after firing a 3-under, 69 during the first round of play on Thursday. The second round was canceled Friday because of water-log on the course. Mansson shot a 1-over, 73 on Saturday, putting her in 19th place heading into the final day of competition.
She finished with 14 birdies over the 54 holes and her total score of 217 ties a career-best.
Powered by a 9-under, 63 on Sunday, Korea’s Amy Yang ran away from the competition and won by six strokes with a final total of 202 (-14).
Tournament host Sorenstam finished tied for sixth with a total score 209 (-7).
Mansson continues play at Scandinavian TPC

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Incoming freshman Nathalie Mansson is tied for 19th after the second round of competition on Saturday at the Scandinavian TPC, a Ladies European Tour event hosted by Annika Sorenstam at Frosaker Golf & Country Club in Vasteras.
Mansson, of Stockholm, carded a 1-over, 73 for a two-day total of 142 (-2). She birdied six holes on the day, but also had three bogeys and a quadruple-bogey.
Mansson is third among amateurs with 18 holes left to play. She is seven shots behind leader Lill Saether, who fired an 8-under 64 on Saturday to take the lead with a total score of 135 (-9).
Tournament host Sorenstam is tied for fourth with a total score 137 (-7).
Mansson fired a 3-under, 69 in the first round of play on Thursday. The second round was canceled Friday because of a flooded course. The tournament was reduced from 72 to 54 holes and wraps up on Sunday.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Incoming freshman Nathalie Mansson is tied for fourth after Day 1 of the Scandinavian TPC, a Ladies European Tour event hosted by Annika Sorenstam at Frosaker Golf & country Club in Vasteras.
Mansson, of Stockholm, fired a 3-under, 69 in the first round of play on Thursday. The second round was canceled today because of a flooded course, but play will resume tomorrow. The tournament will be reduced from 72 to 54 holes.
The 19-year-old recovered from a double bogey on the second hole to convert five birdies, including back-to-back one-under shots on holes 14 and 15 during her opening round on Thursday.
Mansson leads all amateurs in the field and sits just three shots behind Sorenstam, who fired a 6-under 66 to lead by one stroke.
