Tennessee women's golf senior Chessey Thomas began the second stage of the LPGA's Q-School on Tuesday, seeking an LPGA Tour card. The Spokane, Wash., native has graciously agreed to update Lady Vol fans on her week in Venice, Fla., through a daily blog.
After two rounds, Chessey is currently tied for 76th with a total score of 74-73--147 (+3). She tees off Thursday morning at 8:50 a.m. ET.

Well I am half way done!
With two rounds complete, I have now played both courses for the tournament. I will be back on the Panther again tomorrow.
Today I was on the Bobcat course, which seems to be the easier of the two courses. I didn't have a great start or finish to my round but everything in between was solid. So I can't be too upset because the majority of my round was good.
There's still a ton of golf left to be played and I am really starting to feel comfortable out there.
I wish I had more fun stuff to report but really all I did today was wake up, eat breakfast, get ready, head to the course, play my round, practice, eat dinner, and come back to the hotel. In case you're wondering, that's basically what we do when we travel as a team except that being with your teammates makes it more fun.
Tomorrow I will have more time in the afternoon to relax and venture out in Venice. I still owe my Mom a birthday gift (I'm close to a month late on that), so hopefully we'll find a nice store or two.
God Bless and Go Vols!
