The third round today was a tough day. My putting has been pretty good this year but it let me down today. I missed a few par putts that were crucial as far as momentum in my round.
I was able to keep the ball in play better off the tee. I am hoping everything lines up for me tomorrow and I can finish on a strong note before heading back to Knoxville.
Paul has been an excellent caddie for me this week. His knowledge of the greens on both course has definitely saved me a couple shots every round.
Tonight my mom and I went out to dinner with Nathalie. We went to downtown Venice and we even played a little BINGO after we ate. Unfortunately after two games, none of us won. To be fair, I thought I won but apparently diagonals did not count for that particular game.
This week has flown by and I can't believe tomorrow is the last round. I am so grateful I got to come here this week to get this experience.
I've gotten lots of texts and Facebook messages from people back home telling me they're following the scores and supporting me from afar. I am very thankful to have such great people in my life!
God Bless and Go Vols!
