Reunion Photos

The Tennessee women's golf team held its first ever reunion on Saturday, Oct. 11 during the Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate Championships at Fox Den Country Club.

Former Lady Vols who attended the reunion included Holly Cantwell, Golda Johansson Borst, Angie Boyd Keck, Jessica Shepley, Marci Turner, Erin Kurczewski, Skyli Yamada, Sarah Bonner-Shanks, Jennifer Davis and Mary Jan Fernandez. Former assistant coach Mike Whitson, now the head coach at Indiana State, also attended.

Current and former Lady Vols enjoyed a brunch at Fox Den during second round play at a home on the 17th green. In the evening, the reunion attendees had dinner on campus at the Pratt Pavilion.

Forty-two golfer have come through the Tennesse women's golf program since its inception in 1992. The Lady Vols have competed at seven NCAA Championships and eight former players have earned All-America accolades.

Many of the reunion attendees watched as the 2008-09 Lady Vols finished a season-best eighth-place at the Mercedes-Benz Championships. Current Lady Vols Rebecca Watson (t15th) and Ginny Brown (t19th) had their highest placements of their careers at the tournament.

Tennessee returns to action Nov. 2-4 at the Hooters Match Play in Kissimmee, Fla.
