ORLANDO, Fla. - Former Lady Vol golf All-American Jessica Shepley competed at her third LPGA event of the 2010 season on Thursday and Friday, just missing the cut at the LPGA Tour Championship held at the Grand Cypress Golf Club.
Shepley carded rounds of 74 and 80 for a two-day total of 154 (+10), just two strokes away from making the third round cut.
Shepley also competed at the CN Canadian Women's Open in August and the Navistar LPGA Classic in October. She missed the cut at the Canadian Women's Open and tied for 58th at the LPGA Classic.
Additionally, the Oakville, Ontario, native competed in 14 Duramed FUTURES Tour events in 2010, earning three top-10 finishes and ranking 18th in scoring average (71.45).
Currently, Shepley is the Lady Vol golf volunteer assistant coach. She has competed in six career LPGA events and 79 FUTURES tournaments.
She earned All-SEC and honorable mention All-America accolades during her career at Rocky Top from 2001-05.
