FALL 2006: Helped her crew win gold in the Championship 8+ at the Chattanooga Head Race...Ranked fifth in the Championship Four in Chattanooga as part of a coxless crew...Also teamed with Caroline Howell to rank sixth in the Championship Pair in the season opener...Part of the crew that took home the win in the Club 8+ at the Head of the Charles Regatta...Garnered a pair of bronze medals at the Head of the Tennessee, finishing third in the Championship 4+ and 2x...Assisted shells to second place in the Champ 8+ and third in the Champ 4+ at the Head of the Hooch...Member of UT's second C8+ crew that ranked 13th at the Rivanna Romp...

2005-06: Opened the season in the first Championship 8+ boat across the line at the Chattanooga Head Race...Helped C8+ squad to a win at the Head of the Hooch...Part of the C8+ group that finished 12th at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta...Her C8+ crew ranked fourth at the Rivanna Romp...Part of winning shell in her only Champ 4+ event of the fall at the Chattanooga Head Race...Opened the spring in the second Varsity 4+, helping the team to first, second and third in the series of races in the scrimmage against Minnesota and Notre Dame...Moved into the first V4+ for the Louisville event, helping the squad to a win...Part of the Fours crew that defeated Michigan and UCLA and finished second against Ohio State, Washington State and Stanford... Worked her way into the Second Eights shell and led that crew to a win over Princeton, George Washington and UMass in the final regular-season race...Stayed with the 2V8+ for the Aramark Sprints/NCAA Central and South Regionals, assisting that crew to a second-place showing in the petite final...Part of the 2V8+ that ranked fifth in the NCAA Championships petite final...Earned recognition on the Lady Vol Fall, Southeastern Conference Spring Academic and Lady Vol Spring Honor Rolls...

2004-05: Opened the fall season by helping her shell to a silver medal in the Championship Eight at Chattanooga...Also competed on the Club Eight shell that finished in second place at the Head of the Charles...Finished fifth at the Head of the Tennessee and claimed seventh at the Rivanna Romp, both in the Champ 8+...Teamed up with Melissa DiCerbo to win the silver medal in the Open Two at the Head of the Tennessee...Started the spring in the second Varsity Eight boat, leading that squad to wins over Minnesota and Louisville...Shifted to the top Varsity 4+ shell later in the spring...Led that crew to second-place finishes against Virginia and Washington State...Also helped boat to a win in the petite final of the Aramark Sprints/NCAA Central and South Regionals Varsity Four race...Member of the Lady Vol and SEC Academic Honor Rolls...

2003-04: Opened her career by finishing second at the Head of the Tennessee in the Novice Eight...Helped her N8+ shell bring home gold at the Head of the Tennessee and finish second at the Rivanna Romp...In the spring, she split time between the novice and varsity squads... Finished third at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships and second at the George Washington Crew Classic as a member of the Novice Eight... Snared second with the top Varsity Four shell versus Minnesota and Virginia...Claimed a fourth-place clocking as a member of the second Varsity Eight shell at the Lexus Sprints...Named to the Lady Vol Honor Roll and to the SEC Freshman Honor Roll...


A 2003 graduate of Bearden High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, the French National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta National Math Society, marching and symphonic band, Key Club and the Girl Scouts...Hill also was in the Honor Club and served on the prom committee...


Pursuing a degree in civil engineering with a minor in environmental engineering... Heather Breann Hill was born on May 27, 1985, in Sevierville, Tenn., to Clarence and Ann Hill...She has two sisters, Christine, 27; and Ellen, 25.
