2011-12 - SENIOR:
Rowed in the 2V8+ all spring... Guided the second varsity eight to a strong regular-season finish at No. 7 Princeton... Rowed with the 2V8+ at the San Diego Crew Classic, finishing fifth in the petite final... Led the 2V8+ to a victory at C-USA foe Central Florida... At the Oak Ridge Invitational, finished with one first-place and two second-place finishes... Began season with gold medal in the Collegiate 8 at the Chattanooga Head Race... Also took gold at the Head of the Hooch in the Championship 8... Earned silver medal at Chattanooga Head Race in the Collegiate 4... Finished 11th in the Championship 8 at the Head of the Charles...

2010-11 - JUNIOR:
Raced in the V8+ against Minnesota, winning first place. Rowed 4 seat in the V8+ and finished second against Louisville... At the Lake Natoma Invitational in California, raced in 4 seat of the V8+, taking two second place finishes, and winning one... Against Princeton, took fourth place in the V8+... Raced in 2 seat at the Conference USA regatta and finished in second place... Finished the fall with two medals and three top-six finishes...Wrapped up a solid fall season with a gold medal at the Head of the Hooch Regatta as part of the C8+ boat...Opened the 2010-11 season with a bronze medal in the C8+ and a sixth-place finish in the C4+ at the Chattanooga Head Race.

2009-10 - SOPHOMORE:
Was a stronghold in the 2V8+ boat all spring season...Opened the spring by helping her shell record three consecutive head-to-head victories over Minnesota, Dartmouth and Alabama...At the 2010 Lake Natoma Invitational, guided the Big Orange to a second-place finish in the petite final of the 2V8+, as well as a fourth-place team finish...Was a member of the 2V8+ shell that brought home the Conference USA Championship at the 2010 Aramark Sprints...Took part in the 2010 NCAA Championships as a member of the 2V8+ shell...In her first season as a member of the varsity squad, she helped pace her shell to a bronze-medal finish at the Chattanooga Head Race...Part of the championship 8+ crew that took 13th- and 7th-place times in the Head of the Hooch and Rivanna Romp races, respectively.

2008-09 - FRESHMAN:
Rowed in the top novice 8+ shell for the fall...Took bronze at the Head of the Tennessee with the novice 8+ boat ...Helped her boat secure an eighth-place showing at the Head of the Hooch, followed by a fifth-place finish at the Rivanna Romp...Raced with the 2V8+ in the spring...Helped her shell to a win over Alabama on March 28...Won the B Finals at the Lake Natoma Invitational...Recorded first- and third-place finishes at the Charles River Challenge...Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

Ranked seventh in her 2008 graduating class from Richland High School...Placed second in the National HOSA competition for two consecutive years....Won the Student Athlete Award of Merit for having the highest GPA.

Graduated from UT in May 2012 with degree in psychology... Enjoys fishing, dancing and outdoor activities, when not on the water... What she loves most about rowing is the competitiveness, the fun they have, and the closeness of the team... She loves Tennessee because of the school spirit... She rows on both port and starboard sides... Her 2K erg is 7:26.5... Got SEC honor roll her freshman, sophomore and junior years... Her brother, Kevin Coggin, 19, also attends UT... Kristin achieved all district her junior and senior year of high school... Kristin Coggin was born on May 18, 1990, in Pulaski, Tenn.... Her parents are Jeff and Diane Coggin.
