  • Knoxville native helped make Farragut High School a soccer power in Tennessee, winning district and regional championships from 2011-13
  • Was a three-time all-state selection also earned District 4-AAA MVP honors in 2013 and was the District 4-AAA Defender of the Year in 2011 and 2012
  • Helped lead Farragut to a state semifinalist finish in 2013
  • Also skilled around the net, scored six goals and tallied eight assists from the center back position over four years with Farragut
  • Helped FC Alliance 96 Black to the 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Tennessee state title and the 2011 and 2013 Disney Showcase championships

  • Chose Tennessee over Samford, MTSU and Belmont
  • Was a four-year honor roll student at Farragut
  • Looked up to and modeled her game after the 1999 U.S. Women's World Cup Championship team, especially Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, Julie Foudy, Michelle Akers and Brandi Chastain. Admired that team because the World Cup victory showed that women's soccer can be a dominant sport in the U.S.

  • Soccer superstition: Before the first game of the season, she listens to a playlist of songs. If she does well, she listens to those songs before every game the rest of the season.
