Third Year

Luke Thomas is in his third year as a manager for the Tennessee soccer program.

His duties include support for every Tennessee soccer practice and match, equipment and gear management and day-to-day coordination with the coaching staff to execute miscellaneous tasks.

Thomas played soccer at Collierville (Tenn.) High School four years at forward and right wing. In 2010, he helped lead Collierville to a District 15-AAA championship, a Region 8 runner-up finish and a trip to the state quarterfinals. His 2009 team was a district 15-AAA semifinalist and his 2008 squad was a state quarterfinalist.

He was also the head manager for girls varsity and JV basketball at Collierville during the soccer off-season from 2006-10.

Thomas played club soccer for the Lobos (Tenn.) Soccer Club while in high school as the team made two appearances at state.

Thomas is majoring in sports management with a minor in business and creative writing. His twin sister, Loudine Thomas, is also a student at the University of Tennessee. His mother is Derdine Pierre.
