AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2007): Saw time in nearly every match, making 15 starts...Notched two goals and two assists on the season...Both of her goals on the year were game winners...Scored her first career goal in the first weekend of the season, a penalty kick game winner against Minnesota...That goal gave Tennessee the title at the First Tennessee Lady Vol Classic...Scored again the second weekend of the season against No. 24 Wake Forest...Received a pass from junior keeper Jaimel Johnson to score the overtime game winner in the 98th minute...Tallied both of her assists during conference play...Helped on Tanya Emerson's overtime game winner at Kentucky on Oct. 12...Played in all 11 SEC matches...Assisted on Kylee Rossi's score in a 2-0 win over Ole Miss...Helped out Rossi again the next game, a 4-0 win over Mississippi State...Earned a selection to the SEC All-Freshman Team for her efforts.
AS FRESHMAN (2006): Saw action in three matches, making two starts...Recorded nine shots, two of which were on frame...Made starts against Maryland and Virginia early in the season...Foul on Swaim in the penalty box on Sept. 3 gave the Lady Vols the penalty kick game winner against No. 6 Virginia...Spent the remainder of the season on the bench after suffering a torn ACL.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A former member of the Region 1 Olympic Development Team, Swaim played club soccer with the Pennsylvania Strikers, the same squad that teammates Kylee Rossi, Julie Edwards and Melissa Speros played for prior to coming to UT...Helped the Strikers win four consecutive state titles...Also helped the squad win multiple national and regional tournaments, including the Jefferson Cup in 2002 and the PDA College Showcase crowns in 2003 and 2004...Played three years at Neshaminy High School...Picked up Suburban One League Player of the Year honors in 2004, along with being named to the all-state, all-region and all-league teams...Named to the NSCAA/adidas High School Regional All-American and the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association (PSCA) All-State Teams in 2004...Snagged Philadelphia Inquirer Rookie of the Year accolades in 2003...Also played two years of basketball, helping the 2004 team win the league title.
