KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - On Tuesday, March 16th and Thursday, March 18th, the Tennessee Lady Vol soccer team took time out of its busy schedule to conduct free soccer clinics for local youth to benefit both the local Knoxville community and surrounding areas.
The clinics were held at Tommy Schumpert Park, off Rifle Range Road in Knoxville to benefit the American Youth Soccer Association (AYSO) Region 337 with children ages four through eight participating on Tuesday and those eight to 12 years of age on Thursday.
The Lady Vols set up a variety of games and drills for the children to enjoy, with each session averaging between 80 and 100 people. After the clinics, the Tennessee players stayed around to speak with the children and sign autographs.
