KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Over June 7-11 at the Regal Soccer Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., Lady Vol head soccer coach Angela Kelly and her staff hosted their annual Tennessee Day Camps for children ages 5-11.

Over 60 kids ventured out onto the pitch during the week to learn the fundamentals of the game Lady Vol-style, including correct techniques for dribbling, passing and shooting. The kids also participated in games such as "Doctor, Doctor" (where if you get hit with a ball you are labeled sick and have to have the doctor come save you) and a mini soccer Olympics where they learned about competition.

Finishing up hot days with cool treats such as Rita's Water Ice helped put the finishing touches on what had to be special days for the young campers as they learned soccer the Tennessee way.
