BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Senior forward/midfielder Mick Imgram is one of just 11 Southeastern Conference soccer players selected Thursday as part of the league's annual Preseason All-SEC team according to a release from the conference office.

"The SEC preseason team consists of a great collaboration of players from a strong conference," Lady Vol head soccer coach Angela Kelly said. "It's truly an honor to be named to that group, and Mick is certainly deserving of her selection. We are all working hard and preparing to attack the 2009 season head-on."

Imgram begins her final campaign in the Orange & White fresh off a 2008 campaign that saw her make 18 starts in 21 total matches played, post a pair of goals, tally a team-leading four assists and register eight points to rank third on the squad in scoring. The Clifton, Va., native currently rates in a deadlock for seventh in the Lady Vol career record book with 17 helpers while also possessing 13 career scores. Among her six career game-winning goals was the deciding strike in the 61st-minute to down Auburn, 2-1, in the quarterfinals of last year's SEC Tournament. That victory helped ignite the UT squad to its fourth all-time SEC Tournament Championship (2002, 2003, 2005, 2008) and an eighth consecutive berth into the NCAA Field of 64.

The 2009 Lady Vol soccer team is currently in training camp, working towards an exhibition game against Atlantic Coast Conference stalwart Duke on Saturday, August 15th, at 4 p.m. ET at Regal Soccer Stadium. Admission is free to the public with the gates slated to open at 3 p.m. ET. Tennessee's 2009 regular-season kicks off officially on Aug. 22nd, when ETSU visits Knoxville for a 7 p.m. ET match-up.
