KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Top Drawer Soccer has rated Tennessee senior forward Hannah Wilkinson as the No. 23 player in its preseason Women's National Top 100 rankings.
Wilkinson was named to the 2014 Women's MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, Top Drawer Soccer's Preseason Best XI Third Team and to the SEC Preseason Watch List earlier this month. The 2012 NSCAA All-American and 2012 All-SEC selection has amassed 13 goals and six assists over 32 appearances in her previous two years at UT.
Wilkinson is one of the most accomplished players currently in collegiate soccer. She has been a member of the New Zealand Women's National team since 2010 and has represented her country in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, the 2012 London Olympics and the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In 2013, Wilkinson scored a pair of goals against the U.S. Senior Women's National Team in two friendlies between the Kiwis and the Americans. On Oct. 30, 2013, she scored an equalizer in the 87th minute against Hope Solo in a 1-1 tie. This past spring, Wilkinson also scored a game-winning goal against China in the Ravais Cup in Switzerland.
The 2014 Tennessee soccer season starts on Friday, Aug. 22, when the Volunteers play Milwaukee at 5 p.m. ET in Madison, Wis.
