Brown Earns NSCAA All-South Region Honors

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has named Tennessee senior forward Caroline Brown to its 2013 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's All-South Region Second Team.

Brown, who was named a Capital One Academic All-American and a Second Team All-SEC honoree last month, paced the team in scoring in 2013 with eight goals. She had one assist and her 17 points and four match-winners were also team highs.

Brown finished her distinguished Tennessee soccer career as the school's all-time leader in match-winners with 15. Her 72 career points are tied for fourth-most and her 27 goals and 18 assists rank fifth and eighth, respectively, in UT history.

Brown previously earned NSCAA All-South Region Third Team honors in 2011. Her career accolades stand among most impressive in program history. Brown is a two-time Capital One Academic All-American (2011, 2013), a two-time NSCAA All-South Region honoree (2011, 2013), a two-time NSCAA Scholar All-South Region pick (2011, 2012) and a two-time All-SEC selection (2011, 2013).
