An in-state product out of Cornersville, Tenn., Haley Fagan was a two-sport standout in both softball and basketball at Cornersville H.S....The 6-0 right handed pitcher/first baseman helped lead her high school program to three third-place finishes at the 2008, 2009 and 2011 TSSAA Class A State Girls' Softball Tournaments as well as to a trio of TSSAA Sectional (2008, 2009, 2011), two Region 6-A titles (2008 & 2009) and four straight District 11-A championships (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011)...Fagan picked up numerous honors following both her junior and senior campaigns (2010, 2011), including consecutive nods to the Middle Tennessee Softball Coaches Association (MTSCA) All-Mid State First Team, two selections as TSSAA All-District 11-A and back-to-back District 11-A Most Valuable Player accolades...As a senior in 2011, Fagan was also chosen first team all-state by the Tennessee Sportswriters Association's (TSWA), to The Tennessean's All-Mid State Team, as the Most Valuable Player at the 2011 TSSAA District 11-A Tournament and to the District 11-A All-Tournament Team...She demonstrated her classroom proficiency by twice being named first team MTSCA Academic All-Mid State (2010, 2011)...As a member of Tennessee Fury Gold, Fagan participated in both the ASA Gold and ESPN/RISE Premier High School Division National Tournaments in 2010...Previously in Gold action, she helped Team Worth to the 2009 ASA 16-U National Tournament and to a national championship victory at the 2009 American Fastpitch Assoc. Nationals...On the hardwood where she totaled 1,110 career points, she was equally honored, being chosen three straight times (2009, 2010, 2011) as TSSAA All-District 11-A and All-Region 6-A while helping Cornersville to three consecutive District 11-A basketball crowns...Was chosen in 2011 as the District 11-A Player of the Year and as the MVP of the District 11-A Tournament...Helped her squad to the 2009 TSSAA Region 6-A and Sectional titles on the way to Murfreesboro, Tenn., and the initial Tennessee State Class A Girls' Basketball Tournament appearance in her school's history...She was also a U-16 Tennessee State basketball runner-up and participated in the AAU Nationals in Orlando, Fla., with the Moore County AAU in 2009.


Enrolled in the College of Education, Health & Human Sciences at UT...Participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council and was the president of Cornersville H.S.'s Beta Club...Chosen as the Cornersville H.S. Homecoming Queen in 2010 and was voted as both Miss Cornersville H.S. and Cornersville's Most Athletic in 2011...Owned a 3.98 interscholastic GPA and is interested in going into kinesiology in college...Lists country artist Rascal Flatts as her favorite musical group...Has a sister, Kristin, 21...Haley Ruth Fagan was born October 31, 1992, in Nashville, Tenn....Her parents are David and Jill Fagan.
