AS A JUNIOR (2001):
Started 55 games in her first season as a Lady Vol, with 44 appearances at first base, 10 in left field and one starting assignment as the designated player?Wound up with a batting average of .211 overall and .200 in SEC action?Tied for second on UT with a .403 slugging percentage and was third in RBI with 21...Provided the big blow in the Lady Vols' long-awaited triumph at Florida with a three-run homer in the third inning...Ball cleared the left field wall and gave UT a 4-0 cushion...HR enabled Low to wrest team lead from Janette Koshell...Both players would tie for the team lead with seven blasts?Became quite familiar with Auburn's pitching, as she hit .429 (3-for-7) and bashed a home run that dented the scoreboard at AU...Her blast immediately followed Adrianna Wilson's four-bagger in the fifth frame of a 7-2 victory on April 21...Batted .353 (6-for-17) with five runs batted in during the Lady Vol Spring Invitational...Drove in three runs with bases-loaded triple against Centenary...Was 2-for-3 with two runs and a couple of RBI in 8-6 edging of Stephen F. Austin...Cranked her fifth homer of the season in the win...Paced the offense with .571 (4-for-7) effort against #4 Alabama and scored three runs...Went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks in 4-2 triumph over Ole Miss in the teams' second game...Batted .250 (2-for-8) with three free passes against the Rebels...Responsible for UT's initial grand slam of the campaign with a towering third inning HR off Rhode Island's Gwen Rack on Feb. 16...Launched a solo dinger to give the Orange a 1-0 lead in the sixth at St. Mary's (Calif.)...Squad went on to post a 2-0 shutout of the Gaels...Went 2-for-3 with a run-scoring double during win over Virginia that clinched the Triangle Classic?Owns distinction of becoming the first Lady Vol to smack a homer for her first career hit...Accomplished the feat with a two-run job in the sixth against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Feb. 11...Hit put an end to a 0-for-14 slide...Wears a specially designed skirt by adidas when she plays in observance of her religious beliefs.

JUNIOR COLLEGE (1999 & 2000):
Arrived in Knoxville with impressive credentials from her two-year stint at Merced Community College?Chosen as an All-American both seasons and was all-state twice in softball?Led the juco schools in the state with 51 runs batted in and was selected as the Northern California Player of the Year in 2000?Her team was a combined 105-16 during her tenure and garnered a pair of league championships?In her first season at Merced, she led the state with 15 home runs?Also competed for Merced's basketball team during the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons, winning the conference once?Received the league's Most Valuable Player on both occasions?In a 15-hour span one weekend, she had a softball doubleheader on a Friday, where she went 6-for-8 with a homer and eight RBI?The next afternoon, she played the entire 60 minutes of a four-overtime basketball game and scored 34 points and 23 rebounds in a 78-77 triumph over her school's arch-rival.

A three-sport superstar at Summerville High School, Low competed in softball, basketball and volleyball?On the diamond, she was a two-time all-district and all-conference pick as both a junior and a senior?In hoops, she earned all-league accolades twice and was the Most Valuable Player of the Six County All-Stars?Made all-conference twice and was tabbed all-district once as a volleyball player.
