AS A FRESHMAN (2010):
Compiled a 31-6 record with a 2.41 ERA in 56 appearances and 39 starts in the circle for Tennessee...Became the only pitcher other than Monica Abbott in Lady Vol history to win 30 games in a single season and also post a victory at the Women's College World Series...Tied for the league lead with 13 Southeastern Conference victories while firing the most innings of any pitcher in the SEC in both conference action (99.2) and overall (232.1)...Named Louisville Slugger/NFCA Second Team All-Southeast Region...Chosen 2010 Second-Team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman...Ranked fifth in NCAA Division I in saves (five) and 14th in victories...Struck out a career-high-tying 10 Bulldogs during a 7-5 victory over #9 Georgia (6/4) as Tennessee reached the WCWS semifinals...Fired a five-inning, three-hit shutout to guide the Big Orange past #3 Arizona (6/3), 9-0 (5 inn.), in her first career appearance at the WCWS...Until allowing a run in the sixth inning of the NCAA Super Regional finale at #2 Michigan (5/28), Renfroe opened her NCAA Tournament career by tossing 21 scoreless innings...In a Monica Abbott-esque performance, Renfroe arrived on the national stage live on ESPN at #2 Michigan during NCAA Super Regionals, flirting with a no-hitter against the powerful Wolverines for 6.1 innings before settling for a two-hit shutout as UT prevailed 5-0...She also tossed 2.1 frames of relief to earn the clinching save in the 4-3 finale victory over Michigan...Fired a shutout during her first career NCAA Tournament contest against Ball State (5/21) and picked up her fourth save of the year by tossing a perfect ninth in the Knoxville Regional title game against Louisville (5/23)...In relief, Renfroe allowed just one run on five hits over 6.1 innings in upsetting #9 Georgia (5/13) at the SEC Tournament...Beat #11 LSU twice, firing a complete-game, three-hitter in the finale, her 10th career complete game...Started both contests against #4 Florida (4/23), dropping the opener and getting a no-decision in the DH finale...Until losing to #4 Florida, Renfroe hadn't suffered a loss over 17 appearances dating back to a defeat versus Georgia on March 21st, just over a full month...Was almost perfect against Presbyterian (4/17) but settled for a one-hitter...Recorded a win and a save at Auburn (4/10-11), picked up both victories at Arkansas (4/14) and tossed a two-hit shutout at Tennessee Tech (4/20) with a career-high 10 strikeouts...Fired the first individual no-hitter for UT since 2007 and the first of her career in blanking Western Carolina (4/8), 11-0 (5 inn.)...Picked up wins number seven and eight at South Carolina (4/2-3) with two complete games...Reaped her first career selection as the SEC Pitcher of the Week for her 3-0 record and 0.82 ERA in four appearances versus Kentucky and Ole Miss...Picked up her first career save in the DH finale against the Rebels...Picked up wins in both ends of the DH versus Kentucky (3/23)...Beat a power-hitting #6 Georgia squad, 5-4, allowing three earned runs on seven hits with two K's in 5.1 innings of work...Entered in relief starting the second inning against Liberty (3/14) and decimated the Lady Flames, allowing no hits over four frames with nine K's...Was outstanding in her first collegiate SEC series at Mississippi State, going 2-0 with a 1.66 ERA and 17 strikeouts (two eight-K games) in 12.2 innings of work...Fired a complete game in UT's 10-4 series finale victory over MSU (3/10)...Named the SEC Freshman of the Week (3/8) after going 2-0 with a 0.81 ERA and 21 K's in 17.1 innings at the Tennessee Classic...Recorded a six-inning start against a powerful No. 13 Texas squad (3/6) that entered the match-up against the Lady Vols at 16-2 overall and having blasted more than 30 home runs, limiting the Longhorns to just two runs on five hits with five K's in a 3-2 victory...Nearly recorded her first complete-game shutout against Ohio (3/7), coming up just one-third of an inning short in a 5-1 triumph with nine K's...Downed #16 Ohio State (2/27) at the Cathedral City Classic, 3-0, by allowing six hits and no runs in four innings...Fired her first complete game in an 11-2 (5 inn.) rout of St. Mary's (2/21)...Picked up her first career win in the 4-2 victory over #11 Oklahoma (2/14) in Clermont, Fla., throwing four innings of four-hit shutout ball with five K's...By beating the Sooners, Renfroe became the first Lady Vol pitcher to beat a ranked team for her first UT victory...Saw her first collegiate action against eventual 2010 NCAA National Champion #8 UCLA, allowing four earned runs on five hits in four frames.

HIGH SCHOOL:

An in-state product hailing out of West Tennessee, Renfroe made a name for herself since the eighth grade as a standout pitcher at Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson, Tenn....During her illustrious career she won over 110 games, struck out 1,294 hitters, posted 79 shutouts and recorded 41 no-hitters with four perfect games...She was just as productive at the plate putting up batting averages of .478, .330, .396 and .384 with a staggering 187 career RBIs...The 5-10 hurler helped TCA post records of 40-3 ('06), 46-5 ('07), 43-8 ('08) and 46-1 (`09) while winning three Tennessee Class A State Titles (2006, 2007, 2009, state runner-up in 2008), five sectional and district championships (2005-09) and four region crowns (2006-09)...As a senior Renfroe registered a perfect 23-0 pitching record with a miniscule 0.21 ERA, 281 strikeouts in 139.0 innings of work, 11 no-hitters, a perfect game and 17 shutouts...At the plate, she hit .384 with a pair of homers and 56 RBIs...For her senior efforts, Renfroe was both The Jackson Sun's 2009 Player of the Year and the Jackson Sports Hall of Fame's 2009 Female Athlete of the Year...Renfroe was a finalist for Gatorade/RISE Magazine Tennessee State Player of the Year on three occasions, while reaping four consecutive selections as Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) First-Team All-State, First-Team All-West Tennessee and District 15-A Most Valuable Player...She completed her junior season with a 20-4 record, a 0.51 ERA and 261 strikeouts in 128 innings of work with eight no-hitters, one perfect game, and a .396 batting average at the dish with two HR's and 33 RBIs...As a sophomore, Renfroe struck out 311 batters in 160 innings with 17 shutouts, seven no-no's, a 25-2 mark and a 0.47 ERA while knocking in 35 runs at the plate with a .330 batting average...A 24-2 record with a 0.40 ERA as a freshman with 10 no-hitters, two perfect games, 247 K's in 161 frames and a .478 average with 63 RBIs and 20 extra-base hits drew the standout a mention as one of Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd (July 7, 2006)," and Athlete of the Year honors from regional magazine, On the Ball...Played ASA Gold summer ball with Fury Fastpitch helping them to 18-U Gold Nationals for the first time...An outstanding student at TCA, Renfroe was a member of the National Honor Society, was chosen to the school's honor roll and received both the President's Award and an ACSI Academic Award...She was involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, her church youth group, Young Life and the Knitting Club at TCA...Among the finalists for Renfroe's services were Oklahoma, Louisville and North Carolina State.
