A four-time All-Empire League honoree in softball at El Dorado High School...Chosen as California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section Co-Most Valuable Player as a senior after leading her squad to a Southern Section championship...Came off a junior season in which she earned first-team All-CIF recognition...Boasted a .439 batting average, the highest clip in her conference...Named to the all-tournament team for the Michelle Carew Classic in both 2000 and '01...Her club team finished as the national runner-up in 2000 and came in fifth at the 2001 event...Lettered once in golf as her team won the Empire League title that season.
