The right-hander made her 2001 starting debut against Florida Atlantic on Feb. 4 and tossed 4.2 innings, walking eight Owls and allowing two hits...Saddled with the 3-0 setback despite yielding zero earned runs...Proved to be her only start in the circle all season?Relieved Leigh Ann Ellis in the Lady Vols' first encounter with North Carolina at the Triangle Classic on Feb. 17 but was tagged for seven runs in 2.2 frames... Later started in right field against Virginia Tech, St. Mary's (game one), Pacific (game two), Pittsburgh, and during the first game of series against LSU, Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi State...Scored once and walked during the caging of the Panthers...Also singled in Stockton, Calif., in the Tigers' lair...Was 0-for-8 in SEC plate appearances...Employed as a pinch runner in the second meeting with Auburn on April 21 and scored during UT's 5-3 loss...Came in as a pinch runner twice at Florida but did not score...Also batted once against the Gators but grounded out.
