Lady Vol Softball Jersey Countdown #25

Jan. 13, 2014

2014 Schedule | UTTIX.com

Only 25 days remain until the start of the 2014 Tennessee softball season! Today we take a look at the only two Lady Vols to ever wear No. 25 and, oddly enough, they both had the initials N.B. -- Nicole Borg (2001-02) and Natalie Brock (2005-06).

In January and February UTSports.com will count down the days remaining until the start of the Lady Vols' 2014 campaign (Feb. 7) with looks back at the many Lady Vols who donned jersey numbers 30-00.

Borg saw her most action as a Lady Vol in 2001, splitting time in the circle with Stephanie Humphrey and Leigh Ann Ellis and going 9-10 with a 3.35 ERA and 48 strikeouts over 115.0 frames. She tossed complete games in 15 of her 18 starts that year and posted two shutouts and two saves.
