  • Friday's 6 p.m. ET game will feature a free live video broadcast on UTSports.com with Brian Rice on the call.
  • Saturday's and Sunday's games will be televised on CSS with Justin Cazana as the play-by-play announcer and Barbara Jordan as the analyst. Both games will start at 1 p.m. ET. Saturday's game will also feature a live broadcast on WNML 990 AM and UTSports.com with Brian Rice on the call.
  • This weekend No. 2 Tennessee squares off against a fellow top-5 power in No. 4 Florida for three games from March 28-30. Florida owns a 43-21 advantage in the all-time series. The Gators also hold a 15-11 edge in games played in Knoxville.
  • The teams squared off four times in 2013 with each team taking two wins. Florida won the 2013 season series, 2-1, and Tennessee bounced the Gators from the Women's College World Series.
  • The Gators and the Lady Vols last played in Knoxville in 2012 with Tennessee taking a 1-0 win on March 9, 2012, and UF taking 5-2 and 1-0 wins in the Saturday and Sunday games, respectively.
  • Five of the last six meetings between Tennessee and Florida have been decided by two or fewer runs. The exception was Tennessee's 9-2 win over Florida in Game 2 of the 2013 Women's College World Series.
  • Four of the lasts five meetings between the two teams have gone to eight innings.
  • Friday's game will mark the first time in both program's history that both teams will are ranked in the top four of the USA Today/NFCA poll. UT is ranked No. 3 and Florida is ranked No. 4. It will also mark the 37th time that both teams are ranked in the poll when facing each other, the fifth time both teams are ranked in the top five facing each other.
  • UT is 11-6 against the Gators when the Lady Vols are ranked higher in the NFCA poll. The last time UT played a lower-ranked UF team was on May 11, 2007, and the Gators took a 1-0 win in the SEC Tournament in Auburn, Ala.
  • Tennessee is coming off a 4-0 week that included a three-game sweep of SEC foe South Carolina from March 21-23. UT now has a 28-game winning streak against South Carolina, its longest-ever against any single opponent.
  • UT is tied for second in the SEC with a 5-1 league record. Florida is 5-4 in SEC play and stands sixth in the conference.
  • Tennessee senior shortstop Madison Shipman was named the SEC Player of the Week on Monday after hitting .429 with a grand slam and seven RBIs and setting UT's career grand slam record (four) and single-game assist record (nine) during the Lady Vols' weekend series against South Carolina.
  • UT ranks 11th in the nation with a .336 team batting average and the Lady Vols are tied for third with 1.84 doubles per game and rank seventh with a .546 team slugging percentage. Tennessee's 6.39 runs per game are tied for 17th-most in the nation.
  • Madison Shipman ranks 50th in the nation and seventh in the SEC with a .433 batting average to go with eight homers, nine doubles and 26 RBIs.
  • Tennessee's 1.76 team ERA stands 20th in the nation and third in the SEC. The Lady Vol pitching staff has limited opposing hitters to a .183 batting average.
  • Ellen Renfroe is tied for the most wins in the nation with 18 wins. Her 142 strikeouts stand 17th in the country and her 1.34 ERA ranks 35th.
