On Saturday against the Bulldogs, she smashed a smashed a three-run homer in the first inning that gave Tennessee a 3-1 lead and added a pair of walks and a pair of runs en route to an 11-5 UT win. Shipman contributed one of five UT home runs in the Saturday win, tying the single-game school record set on April 25, 1999 against Southern Miss and matched recently on April 12 at then-No. 21 Texas A&M. On Sunday, Shipman crushed two home runs in Tennessee's 11-7 loss to MSU with a solo shot in the fifth and a two-run shot in the sixth.

With three home runs on the weekend, Shipman pushed her season total to 17 home runs - the second-most in a single season in Tennessee history behind Lauren Gibson's school record of 19 homers in 2013. She also pushed her career total to 43. Shipman ranks third on UT's all-time homer list behind only Tonya Callahan (51 from 2005-08) and Lauren Gibson (46 from 2010-13).
