ATHENS, Ga. - Sophomore Gabrielle Trudeau was the top performer among Tennessee women's divers for the second consecutive day at the Georgia Diving Invitational and Shootout on Monday at the Gabrielsen Natatorium.

Trudeau, of Montreal, Canada, finished 11th in the finals of the 3-meter board with a score of 254.00 to lead the Lady Vols on the second day of the championship-style meet. She qualified for the 12-person final by placing 11th (260.20) in the morning prelim session.

"Gabbi bounced back after a disappointing 13th-place finish on Sunday, as she just missed making the finals on the 1-meter," UT diving coach Dave Parrington said. "She dove well in the prelims today and maintained her 11th-place position in the finals. I'm proud of her attitude and how she is responding."

An honorable mention All-American on the platform in 2009, Trudeau will look to contend for the title in the tower event as the invitational wraps up at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Also competing in the 3-meter competition for the Lady Vols were junior Jill Pierce, who placed 28th (209.90), and freshman Skye Sanders, who finished 30th (205.60).

Georgia's Hannah Moore captured first in the 3-meter competition with a finals score of 306.65.
