FRESHMAN (FALL 2006): Completed her initial fall campaign at Tennessee with a 10-4 singles mark, as well as a 7-2 record in doubles...Earned victories in her first four singles matches at the St. Mary's Classic and Furman Fall Classic...Combined efforts with Blakeley Griffith at the ITA Southeast Regional, as the duo went 3-1 before bowing out in the quarterfinals...Also claimed a pair of singles wins at the SEC Coaches' Classic.


First Hungarian to play tennis for the Lady Vols...Has seen her name posted high on the list of the Hungarian national rankings, reaching as high as 24th overall and second in juniors...Claimed the doubles national championship in 2001, while playing with Agnes Szavay...In 2004 and 2005, advanced to the age-group 18 national semifinals...Was honored by the Hungarian government as the National Good Athlete and Good Student in 2003...Served as a member of the Hungarian national tennis team at the European Championships on five occasions dating back to 2001.


Enrolled in the College of Business Administration...Enjoys dancing, riding bicycles, stringing beads and listening to music in her free time...Has one sister Ildiko, 27...Zsófia Zubor, daughter of Zoltan Zubor and Katalin Pazmandy, was born April 10, 1987, in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary.

Who do you feel has been the biggest influence in your personal life and why: My sister Ildiko was my role model while I was a little child. I have always looked up to her because she was a really good tennis player and had an athletic scholarship to South Florida. She was able to graduate and I have always wanted to do that as well, because of her. Now...I am here and she is still my role model.
