KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Tennessee women's tennis team concluded a successful weekend with three singles titles on Sunday at the St. Mary's Classic. The three-day tournament was held at the Goodfriend Tennis Center and Tyson Park in Knoxville, Tenn.

On center court, senior Blakeley Griffith quickly dispatched her second ranked opponent of the tournament, No. 117 Austin Smith of North Carolina, (6-4), (6-3). On the first day of the St. Mary's Classic, Griffith took down No. 59 Monica Dancevic of Georgia, (6-3), (6-2). She also defeated Masha Ilina (ETSU), (6-1), (6-1) in the first round and advanced to the finals after Ana Jerman (Wake Forest) was forced to retire in the second set with an injury.

Freshman Zsofia Zubor was the first Lady Vol to claim a singles title on Sunday, cruising past Kentucky's Christine Johnston in straight sets, (6-3), (6-0) to win the sixth flight early in the morning. The Nyiregyhaza, Hungary, native remains undefeated in singles play during her brief collegiate career after going a perfect 3-0 this weekend. She also beat Lauren Barry of N.C. State, (6-1), (6-2) and Kentucky's Caroline Winebrenner, (6-1), (7-6) (9), en route to her title.

None of UT's three singles titles winners dropped a single set throughout the entire tournament, winning all 18 in which they competed.
