GREENVILLE, S.C. - Day three of the Furman Fall Classic saw a lot of three-set action for the Tennessee women's tennis team.
Repic finished the three day competition with a third place finish in flight four singles after a 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 comeback win over Caroline Dailey of South Carolina.
Henderson and Ambike Pande picked up wins to finish in fifth place in their respective flights. Henderson needed three sets to come back and earn a 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 win while Pande easily took down Carola Pederzani of Clemson.
Tiffany Tavares and Laurence Guevremont fell in three sets in their respective fifth place matches. Tavares dropped a 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 decision to Katerina Popova of South Carolina while Guevremont fell 4-6, 7-5, 6-0 to Tristen Dewar of Clemson. Remaining undefeated on the weekend was freshman Victoria Olivarez who defeated Natalie Looney of South Carolina 6-1, 6-4 while Brittany Lindl picked up her second victory of the weekend with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Majlena Pedersen of Florida State.
The Lady Vols will return to action as a team at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional in Memphis on October 18-20.
