KNOXVILLE, Tenn.

Four players from the University of Tennessee Lady Vol tennis team will compete in the singles finals of their respective flights tomorrow at the St. Mary's Fall Tennis Classic in Knoxville. Tomorrow's matches will be played at Goodfriend Tennis Center.

Top-rated senior Vilmarie Castellvi will headline the Tennessee foursome tomorrow after making short work of No. 88 Emily Marker of Maryland, 6-0, 6-0. Castellvi will face No. 8 Kate Pinchbeck of North Carolina at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow. Pinchbeck pulled out a come-from-behind win over UT junior Tammy Encina, 2-6, 6-0, 6-2, to reach the finals of flight one. Encina will take on Marker at 10 a.m. tomorrow in a battle for third place.

Senior Crystal Cleveland, unranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, pulled off a stunning upset over 36th-ranked Delila Causevic of Maryland, winning 7-6(4), 7-6(5), to advance to the finals of flight two. Cleveland will square off with North Carolina's Aniela Mojzis tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. for the title.

In flight three of the singles, an all-Tennessee final is set at 11 a.m. between freshmen Melissa Schaub and Sabita Maharaj. Schaub won her semifinal match over Kendall Cline of North Carolina, 6-4, 6-3, while Maharaj defeated Maryland's Marta Jedrzejak, 6-2, 6-3.

Sophomore Ashley Robards upended Lyndsey Shosho of Georgia Tech in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, and will battle it out with Purdue's Amy Walgenbach at 8 a.m. tomorrow for fifth place in flight four.

Lady Vol sophomore Breanna Kray lost a 6-4, 6-0 decision with Chloe Chavades of Maryland and now takes on Carmen Torres at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow for third place in flight five. Two Lady Vols, sophomore Melinda Morrow and freshman Megan Kerr, will face each other for third place in flight six at 8 a.m. Morrow was dropped by Shawna Zuccarini of Purdue, 6-2, 6-3, and Kerr lost her match with Maryland's Ramona But, 6-1, 6-2.

Tennessee claimed two doubles titles on the afternoon. Their first came courtesy of Cleveland and Robards when the pair grabbed an 8-6 win over Iqbal and Woods of Purdue in flight two. Moments later, the 23rd-ranked combo of Castellvi and Schaub won their match with North Carolina's Pinchbeck and Bunn, 9-7, for the flight one crown.

In yet another clash with teammates, sophomores Claudia Farace and Erin Cohn defeated Morrow and Kerr, 8-4, for seventh place in the flight three doubles. In the finals of flight three, sophomore Majen Immink, who teamed with Danielle Petrisko of Kentucky, lost to Purdue's Zuccarini and Walgenbach, 8-4.
