PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - University of Tennessee Lady Vol tennis player Brynn Boren was eliminated in the qualifying round of the 2010 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships on Tuesday afternoon at the Riviera Tennis Club.
Boren dropped a contest to No. 24-ranked Nadine Fahoum of Duke, 6-3, 6-0. Fahoum was the Colonial Athletic Association Co-Player of the Year last season at Old Dominion before transferring to Duke this fall. She advanced to face Noemie Scharle of Florida State.
Rosalía Alda is the lone Lady Vol remaining in the tournament. She earned the No. 16 overall seed in the tournament's main draw, which begins on Thursday. Her opponent will be determined Wednesday afternoon.
