Lady Vol sophomore tennis player Sarah Toti was in the midst of a stellar freshman season when she suffered an ACL injury against Arkansas on March 25, 2012.
Toti underwent surgery in April and has been rehabbing ever since to get back out on to the court.
She made her first appearance back in the Tennessee Orange on Oct. 26 just a mere seven months after the injury playing doubles with Mimi Fotopoulos in the Tennessee Fall Classic.
Toti got back out on the court in singles play for the first time during the Virginia Winter Classing in Charlottsville earlier this season falling 6-0, 6-0, but like Toti said after the match 'the only way to go from here is up!'
Last weekend against No. 55 Indiana Toti won her first game since her return in singles play and alongside doubles partner Fotopoulos on Sunday, Feb. 17 against Ohio State, Toti helped to clinch the doubles point garnering her first doubles victory.
Toti and the Lady Vols will return to action on Saturday, March 2 at 12 p.m. in their SEC home opener against Georgia.
