NCAA DOUBLES TOURNAMENT BRACKET

URBANA, Ill. - The University of Tennessee women's tennis duo of Brynn Boren and Kata Szekely will begin competition in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships starting on Wednesday, May 22.

Szekely, ranked 35th in the nation, will be the first Lady Vol in action Wednesday when she takes on Lorraine Guillermo of Pepperdine at 9:30 a.m. Boren, the nation's 24th ranked singles player, will begin her singles tournament action at 11 a.m. against seeded Julie Elbaba of Virginia.

The twosome, seeded fourth in the nation heading into the tournament, will begin tournament play on Thursday when they take on Angelina Jogasuria and Prang Pantusart of Akron in the first round of action.

With the fourth seed ranking, the duo enters the doubles championship as one of the top eight seeds in the country, making them 2013 All-Americans, the second career honor for Szekely and first of Boren's career on Rocky Top.

This marks the seventh consecutive season that the Lady Vols have been represented in both singles and doubles play at the NCAA Individual Championships and the eighth straight year that a Lady Vol has reached the singles championship.

Overall Lady Vols have made the singles field 23 times and the doubles field 19 times beginning in 1982.
