Pluskota and Boren are ranked 29th and 31st, respectively, in the ITA Preseason Singles Rankings, making the Lady Vols one of just five teams nationally to have at least two players in the top 31 (Baylor, Florida, Stanford and Texas A&M).
The duo also found themselves in the ITA Preseason Doubles Poll. The pairing of Pluskota and Henderson is ranked 22nd, while Brynn and Toti are 28th.
Pluskota and Boren had eventful summers to say the least. Pluskota won her first career professional title at the Norman Wilkerson Memorial Tournament in July and defeated the No. 6 doubles player in the world, Yaroslava Shvedova, at the Emblem Health Bronx Open. The senior leader is a two-time ITA All-American doubles and All-SEC selection.
Boren also found success on the Futures circuit, coming away with her second consecutive Women's Hospital Classic title in July.
As a freshman in 2011, Boren was a second team and freshman All-SEC selection while leading the Lady Vols in singles wins with 30.
Henderson and Toti are part of a 2011 newcomer class that was ranked No. 5 nationally by TennisRecruiting.net.
Toti was the highest-rated player in the class, ranking No. 16 nationally. She was a five-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net.
Henderson was one of the best players in Great Britain in her age group and won three British national titles. She also competed in the Under-14 World Junior Team Event, where she reached the finals.
The Lady Vols open up fall play Sept. 23-25 at the Furman Fall Classic in Greenville, S.C.
