Tennessee Head Coach Rob Patrick:
On Tennessee's performance: "It was our first match after a big win last week over Florida and I just thought that we were a little ragged in our focus. I was pleased with our hitting, we didn't make many errors hitting-wise. I was also fairly pleased with our serving, but we are really a ball control team and we didn't really control the ball when it got past the blocker on serve receive."
On Auburn's competitive play: "Auburn is playing really good volleyball now. They got all of their injured players back and they played really well, they never quit even when they were down 2-0. I thought that we handled them well the first two games and you have to give them credit as they never quit. They just kept coming back and kind of punched us in the nose in that third game."
Auburn Head Coach Laura Farina:
On how her team played:
"By game three, I thought we had a pretty good rhythm going, our serving was working well for us. We were doing the things we wanted to do to make their offense predictable. In game three we got some very nice points when Jennifer Amobi was back behind the service line."
