Feb. 10, 2014

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee volleyball newcomer Claudia Coco garnered her fourth All-American accolade for her 2013 high school senior season as she was recognized as a 2013 High School All-American.

Coco is one of four liberos on the list of 150 honorees. She was also named 2013 Under Amour All-American Honorable Mention, 2013 Max Preps High School All-American and 2013 American Family Insurance All-USA Volleyball Team.

"I'm very honored and humbled to have made this list," Coco said. "I know I could not have achieved this without my teammates or my coaches."

The native of John's Creek, Ga., set the state of Georgia's career dig record and national dig record with 2,754 digs during her high school career at Chattahoochee High. The 5-foot-4 libero was also recognized as the 2013 Georgia Defensive Player of the Year and was named a Georgia Senior All-Star.

Coco led the Cougars to the State Championship match in 2010 and 2013, as well as the State Final Four in 2011 and Elite Eight in 2012. She was named All-State in 2012 and 2013, and recognized as an All-Area standout all four years of her high school career.

Coco officially joined the Lady Vol family in January after enrolling in classes at UT.
