KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – For the first time in Tennessee volleyball camp history, UT Strength and Conditioning Coach Holly Frantz will be leading a SUPER SESSION featuring drills and performance measures used every day by the student-athletes on Rocky Top. This hour long experience gives campers the opportunity to truly train like a Lady Vol by working on all components of their game – including speed, agility and quickness.
The SUPER SESSION will be offered at three of the team’s seven camps next month, including the Overnight Individual Camp (July 12-15), Team Camp I (July 17-20) and Team Camp II (July 22-24).
Measurements will include: vertical jump, standing reach, speed and flexibility. SUPER SESSION participants will be able to see how they measure up to their competition, because statistics of this style are typically used by collegiate athletics programs to evaluate potential prospects.
In order to be eligible for the SUPER SESSION, participants must first be enrolled in an overnight camp. Commuters and residents are both welcome to join. Early registration is available for $20 and late registration for $25 will start at check-in on the first day of your camp.
All Tennessee Sport Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender. For more information and to register online, visit the new and improved volleyball page on www.TennesseeSportCamps.com.
