KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee volleyball team will be featured on television a total of four times during the upcoming 2011 campaign, the Southeastern Conference, in conjunction with ESPNU, SportSouth (SPSO), Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) and Cox Sports Television (CST) announced on Tuesday.
In addition to the two previously announced ESPNU contests at Florida on Sept. 25 and at Kentucky on Oct. 12, the Lady Volunteers will also have their matches at Arkansas on Oct. 2 and at home against LSU on Nov. 20 shown live on television.
The contest against the Razorbacks will air at 2 p.m. ET on SportSouth, while the tilt against the Tigers will take place at 2 p.m. ET on CSS.
Areas that are covered by Comcast will see the matches on CSS, while areas covered by Cox (LSU, Arkansas and Florida) will see the matches on CST.
ESPNU reaches over 73 million homes, FOX Sports South reaches 25 million and CSS/CST reaches 10 million homes.
Tennessee's four televised matches are the second-most in the SEC, behind only defending champion Florida. Making three appearances each will be Mississippi State, Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina and Arkansas, while the four remaining league schools will make two.
