Courtside Chat with Kelsey Robinson

Aug. 10, 2010

ROB PATRICK ON ROBINSON: "It's really neat to get someone like Kelsey into our program. She has played at an elite level over the past few years in both high school and club and has been a little bit of a marked person in that other teams really geared up to stop her. She's going to be able to come in and compete at a high level immediately because she knows how to adapt on the court and is a player that is used to touching the ball a ton for her teams. She passed the ball, has a rocket jump serve, can play middle-back and is a great defender, was set more than anyone else and can block effectively. She's been a workhorse in the past, but the good thing is that we don't need her to play that role this year. She can come in and concentrate on her defense and passing and just take whatever comes to her offensively."
