KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- In the latest edition of "The Weekly Spike," UTSports.com's Julia Cox takes a look at what the annual "Dig for the Cure" match means to the Tennessee volleyball team. Prior to Sunday's match, a silent auction was held where almost $1,900 was raised for the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Host Dani Klupenger catches up with head coach Rob Patrick as he talks about the improvement of the young team and the weekend ahead.
The episode wraps up with assistant coach Rachel Cooper, who was a former standout at Mississippi State. Cooper holds the third-most kills in MSU program history with 1,405. She also was the first Bulldog in school history to earn an SEC weekly honor. Tennessee will face the Bulldogs on Sunday in a 2:30 p.m. ET matchup following a Friday night contest at Ole Miss at 8 p.m. ET.
