Gladys Archer is in her 10th year as a secretary for the Lady Vols, working primarily with athletic training, cross country, strength & conditioning and track and field. Archer enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and visiting with her grandchildren, Chris, Josh and Ben. She lives in Corryton with her husband, Tommy.

TIM BOHANAN - Cross Country/Track & Field Graduate Assistant

Tim Bohanan is in his second year as a graduate assistant with the Tennessee women's cross country and track and field teams. A native of Sevierville, Tenn., he is pursuing a master's degree in sport management after earning his undergraduate degree in the same field from Tennessee in May of 2001. Prior to working with the track team, Bohanan spent two years as an intern with the Lady Vol marketing and promotions staff while also interning with the Knoxville Open from February-July 2001. With the Lady Vol cross country team, Bohanan is responsible for travel arrangements, adidas equipment and various administrative duties.

CATHERINE HALL - Event Management Graduate Assistant
Catherine Hall is in her first year as a graduate assistant with the Lady Vols. A former UT tennis player, Hall graduated in May 2002 with a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in Spanish. The Boone, N.C., native handles event management and operations for cross country and track and field meets as well as for tennis and volleyball matches. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport administration.

JEREMY JACOBS, C.S.C.S. - Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach
Jeremy Jacobs is in his second year with the Lady Vols' strength and conditioning program. Jacobs received his bachelor's degree in exercise science from the College of Charleston in May 2001 and is pursuing his master's degree in exercise science with a concentration in biomechanics. A member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Pawleys Island, S.C., native served as a student assistant coach for the College of Charleston strength and conditioning program for three years before coming to UT Women's Athletics. Jacobs has been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and USA Weightlifting.

KRISTA KALKWARF - Cheerleading & Marketing Graduate Assistant
Krista Kalkwarf is in her first season as a graduate assistant in the Lady Vol marketing office. Her areas of responsibility include promoting the cross country, track and field and softball teams as well as assisting with the coordination of the cheerleading squad. Kalkwarf joined the UT staff after graduating in January 2002 with a degree in fitness and sport management from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Neb., where she spent four years working on the athletic training staff. A native of Seward, Neb., she is pursuing a master's in sport management at Tennessee.

ETHAN MAYERS - Lady Vol Video Coordinator
Ethan Mayers is in his first season as video coordinator for women's athletics. His responsibilities will include such assignments as shooting video of all 11 Lady Vol teams, handling footage requests and putting together highlight tapes. A native of Long Island, N.Y., Mayers transferred to UT from the University of Cincinnati and will complete a double degree in broadcasting and business administration in May 2003. A resident of Tennessee for the past four years, Mayers has called Knoxville home the past three. He resides in the Volunteer City with his wife, Kachai, and son, Jakob.

JOSH MOUNTZ - Cross Country/Track & Field Manager
A graduate of Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., Josh Mountz is in his second year as a manager for the Lady Vol cross country and track and field teams. A junior who is majoring in sport management, Mountz participated on the cross country and track & field teams for four years at Brentwood. His duties this season will include assisting with practice and meet set-up and breakdown as well as with filming.

JEREMY PLEMMONS - Student Assistant Athletic Trainer
Jeremy Plemmons is a fifth-year senior at the University of Tennessee and has spent the past four seasons as a member of the Lady Vol athletic training staff. The 2002 campaign will be his first with the cross country team, and he will also look after the track and field squad in the spring. Prior to his assignment with the UT harriers, Plemmons worked with the Lady Vol basketball team and the cheerleaders. A native of Asheville, N.C., and a graduate of T.C. Roberson High School, he is majoring in exercise science with aspirations of becoming an athletic trainer in a college setting.

AUTUMN PLYMPTON-CROMPTON, ATC/L - Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer
Autumn Plympton-Crompton is in her second year in the Lady Vol training room and will be working with the cross country and track and field programs. The Branson, Mo., native earned her bachelor's degree in sports medicine and athletic training from Southwest Missouri State University in May 2001. As part of her athletic training education at SMS, she completed a variety of rotations with the teams on her own campus as well as working with a local high school and a sports medicine clinic. At UT, she is pursuing a master's degree in exercise science with a concentration in biomechanics/sports medicine.

TYLER RIGGIN - Cross Country/Track & Field Manager
Tyler Riggin is in his first year as a manager for the cross country and track and field teams. The 2000 graduate of Centennial High School in Franklin, Tenn., will assist with practice and meet set-up and breakdown as well as with filming. A junior majoring in sport management at UT, Riggin plans on earning a master's in the same field and pursuing a career as an athletics director at an NCAA Division I institution.

RICK STARRATT - Assistant Internet Communications Director
Rick Starratt returned to UT in September 2001 to increase the department's exposure on the Internet after spending two and a half years at Total Sports in Raleigh, N.C., where he worked as the Live Event Operations Manager. Previously, Starratt served as a graduate assistant for the Lady Vols, creating and maintaining the award-winning Lady Vol Web site from 1996-98. In 1998, he was hired full-time as the department's first web master before departing later in the year. The Norton, Mass., native received a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Wheaton College in May 1996. He completed his work on a master's degree in sport administration at UT in May 1998.

ERIC TRAINER - Assistant Media Relations Director
Eric Trainer is in his sixth year as assistant media relations director at Tennessee after spending the previous six seasons as the director of media relations and marketing at Carson-Newman College. He earned a degree in journalism from Arkansas in 1988 and completed his master's in sports administration and a three-year sports information assistantship at UT in 1991. A native of Princeton, Mo., Trainer has received 81 CoSIDA citations and five Tennessee Sports Writers Association awards for his work on publications, press releases and posters. He and his wife, Laura, a former Lady Vol basketball manager, reside in Knoxville with their four-year-old son, Cameron.

CRAIG WRISBERG, Ph.D. - Sport Psychology Consultant
Dr. Craig Wrisberg is a professor of sport psychology in the Department of Sport and Leisure Studies. He has provided sport psychology consultation for the UT Men's and Women's Athletics Departments since 1983. Most of his consultations are with the sports of baseball, football, tennis and track. Dr. Wrisberg also oversees the academic programs of graduate students in sport psychology and provides support for the UT Mental Training Center under the direction of Joe Whitney. A native of St. Louis, Dr. Wrisberg has four advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Motor Behavior from the University of Michigan. In 1993, he obtained certification as a sport psychology consultant from the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology.
