About the New Tennessee Football Training Center

The new Tennessee Football Training Center will give our student-athletes the opportunity to practice, learn, and grow in a facility tailored to their specific needs. The 145,000 square foot Football Training Center includes a team meeting room, coaches' offices, position specific meeting rooms, a dining hall, players' lounge, a 22,000 square foot weight room, new training room, hydrotherapy area, and a 7,000 square foot locker room.

How Do I Support?

In order for Tennessee to remain a leader in the realm of collegiate athletic facilities and continue to provide the necessary resources for our student-athletes to compete at the highest level, we rely on the support of Vol Fans just like you! To help make the new Tennessee Football Training Center a reality we are extending an opportunity for athletic donors, alums and fans of the program to sponsor a locker in honor of a family member, friend, or a former favorite Volunteer.

The opportunity to sponsor a locker is open to all Big Orange fans. Locker sponsorships require a pledge of $15,000 payable over five years, and include a personalized plaque that will be displayed within each player's locker. You will also have the opportunity to include a short motivational message on the plaque that will appear under your name if you choose to do so. The demand is expected to be high with only 125 lockers available for sponsorship so don't miss your opportunity to be a leader in supporting this project and continuing Tennessee's rich tradition of success!

Former football student-athletes have an opportunity to sponsor a locker as well. Any former Tennessee Volunteer may sponsor a locker for a pledge of $10,000 payable over five years, and include a personalized plaque that will be displayed within each player's locker. You will also have the opportunity to include a short motivational message on the plaque that will appear under your name if you choose to do so. This is a great way for a former student-athlete to honor a fellow teammate or coach, so don't miss your chance to leave a lasting impact on the next generation of Tennessee Volunteers!

Become a member of a select group of donors who are making a difference in the future of Tennessee Football. By sponsoring a locker plaque, your name and information will appear permanently on a laser-etched, zinc locker plaque in the new Football Training Center. Letter of Intent

In support of the new Football Training Center, and in consideration of the gifts of others, I/we wish to reserve  

  (number of lockers) in the Football Training Center.

•  I am making a one-time capital gift totaling $ 15,000. *($15,000 per locker is payable over 5 years)

•  I intend to fulfill my pledge in no more than five years and will give at least 20 percent ($3,000) each year.
•  A commitment can be made by multiple families for a locker. Please complete commitment information above for each person sponsoring a locker.
•  Gifts to the University of Tennessee Athletic Facilities Campaign may qualify fully as charitable contributions since the University of Tennessee anticipates providing no goods or services having material value to you in consideration of these gifts. However, the value of benefits attributable to annual Tennessee Fund gifts should continue to be taken into account. We recommend that you consult your tax advisor prior to taking any deduction.
