ABOUT US

The Volunteer Athletics & Scholarship Fund was founded in 1986 with hopes of growing the UT's men's athletic programs and allows each team to compete among the nations best intercollegiate athletic programs. The VASF is designed to give student-athletes at the University of Tennessee the opportunity to compete both athletically and academically and as it also funds some of the department's operating expenses. The VASF made it possible for Tennessee fans to continue supporting "The Big Orange" while receiving various member benefits.

When you think of the VASF, think of the many intelligent, hard-working and dedicated individuals who care about the University and most of all, the student-athletes. The VASF is not only the staff members who work behind the scenes to provide financial assistance, athletic opportunities and educational opportunities for student-athletes, but it is also VASF members all over the country. VASF members are the bench, the backbone of our program, and we are successful because of their unfailing commitment. The generosity and dedication of VASF members enable the university and the VASF to thrive and grow more and more each year. The staff and faculty members at the University of Tennessee, along with members of the VASF, make the excitement of winning championships and obtaining a college degree possible for our student-athletes.
