Scott Carter joined the Tennessee Fund staff in July 2004 and currently serves as Assistant Athletic Director for Development. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the premium seating for the athletic department while working to secure capital contributions for various facility and endowment projects.

Prior to coming to Tennessee, Carter served at his alma mater East Tennessee State University in a similar position. Carter received his bachelors and masters degrees while serving as fullback and team captain of the ETSU Buccaneers Football Team (1998-2002).

He and his wife Kristen are both from Knoxville and have two little girls, Kate and Mia.
