Ryan Thompson joined the Tennessee Fund office in August of 2009 and currently serves as Associate Director for Development. His primary focus is working with premium seating and capital support solicitations as well as growing the annual fund. In addition, he also oversees the Courtesy Car Program for the entire athletic department.

Prior to arriving at Tennessee, Ryan spent seven years with the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. During his time there, he gained experience as the Marketing Coordinator, Sr. Ticket Sales Executive, and then wrapped up his career with the Redbirds as the Director of Ticket Sales.

Originally from Memphis, Ryan graduated from Tennessee in 2001 with an undergraduate degree in Marketing. He and his wife Michelle enjoy the outdoors and love spending time with family, friends and their dog Maya.
