Vol Car In Action March 24

NASCAR driver Elton Sawyer will drive the "2001 University of Tennessee Race Car" at the Cheez It 250 in Bristol, Tenn., March 24. Sawyer's #98 Ford Taurus will display an orange and white paint scheme with the University's Power T visible on the hood and sides of the car.

The Tennessee car will make its first appearance this week Wednesday, March 21 at the Food City Family Race Night in Knoxville. Qualifying for the Cheez It 250 Race will take place Friday with race time on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m..
