MARTIN FALLS IN CONSOLATION FINALS AT MIDDLE TENNESSEE

Murfreesboro, Tenn. -- Tennessee senior Rawl Martin fell to Tennessee Tech's Michele Panzeri 7-5, 6-3 in the consolation finals of the Flight A3 singles draw Sunday at the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational.
Martin dropped his first match of the weekend Friday to Freed-Hardeman's Francisco Redondo but rebounded Saturday to win two matches to advance to the consolation finals. Martin finishes the weekend 2-2.
The Vol Netters will be in action next weekend when they travel to Athens, Ga., to participate in the Southern Intercollegiate Championships.
